Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Environmental Field Technician to join one of the industry's leading environmental, energy and industrial services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. This individual will perform tasks such as rebuilding pumps and monitoring the thermal oxidizer for the refinery, as well as monitoring and filling filtration tanks. This person will be responsible for following safety policies and procedures while overseeing the filtration process. Daily tasks will include documentation of hourly logs and recording statistics from the filtration equipment. This individual must be willing to work to accommodate to a fast paced working environment, flexible shift times, and comfortable working extended hours sometimes bleeding into overtime. Insight Global is looking for someone with at least a year of experience in a refinery setting.

Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience working in a Refinery or Environmental Safety background

- Experience and high level understanding of mechanical safety measures and precautions

- TWIC Certified (Company will pay for TWIC renewals but MUST have the certification)

- Flexible scheduling availability, and willing to work overtime

- Must be willing to lift 30+ pounds at a time

- Class C Drivers license with a clean driving record

- Must pass a hair follicle drug test

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- RSO class completion (we can provide if needed)
