An entertainment company in the Los Angeles area is looking to bring on 2 fully remote Sr. Software Engineers (1 of them is Fullstack, 70/30 Backend to Frontend, the 2nd is 100% Backend). They will be working on a software engineering accounts team, working on an already existing application, with the goal to improve and enhance authentication features in efforts to provide more security for external users when creating their profile and login information.
Responsibilities:
- 90% of day will consist of hands on coding in Java on the backend and React on the frontend (for fullstack).
- Fullstack - The fullstack engineer will be updating the UI to enhance the login and account for all external users, implementing ways to enter their phone number and other required fields.
- Both -- Updating forms and other components to support changes being made, and maintaining them through out .
- Work on existing code, identifying bugs, and re-writing code for smooth processes.
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Sr Fullstack/Backend Engineer.
- Advanced Java coding experience on the backend, being able to identify bugs and rewrite code from scratch for troubleshooting purposes.
- Proficient React experience on the frontend to create new features/components on an already existing application (specific to the Fullstack opening).
* Proficient experience reviewing existing code in DynamoDB and ensuring that the infrastructure and pipelines are optimal.
- Experience working within an AWS environment and working with various AWS technologies.
- Experience working within a Microservices environment.
- Previous software development experience within a professional setting for the Accounts and Authentication team and/or projects.
