Job Description
A large financial services client is looking for a Project Manager with a background in Information Security to join their Cybersecurity team. As a cybersecurity Project Manager specializing in Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), your main responsibilities would include planning, organizing, and overseeing projects related to identifying, developing, and delivering KRIs to monitor and mitigate cybersecurity risks. This role would involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity analysts, IT teams, and stakeholders, to ensure the successful execution of projects. You'd also be responsible for defining project scopes, setting objectives, allocating resources, and managing timelines. Regular communication, tracking progress, and ensuring that KRIs align with organizational risk strategies would be essential to your role.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong experience in building out and driving KRI (Key Risk Indicators) within an Information Security or Cybersecurity team
* 5+ years' experience in project management: demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the Project Management lifecycle of delegating targets to the project team
* Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and organization with large-scale projects with multiple work streams
* Experience working on the ground level within projects ( in the weed with the team)
* Able to define and work in Information Security, Compliance, Data Loss Prevention, Technology Operations, and/or Data Protection
* Ability to execute C-Level communications: Ensuring communication to all stakeholders across all levels including detailed engineering and operational level communications program and executive management project status, issues, and risk reporting
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Background in the finance services or banking industry
