Insight Global is looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer/Architect who will be responsible for implementing highly scalable and secure cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. This role requires an in-depth understanding of Azure cloud computing technologies and a strong technical background deploying cloud infrastructure. The Azure Cloud Engineer will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their business needs and implement solutions that meet their requirements. Maintain on premise systems during cloud transition and provide daily operational support. Our client is looking for someone that can get them to the cloud and is aware of the pitfalls that can happen and how to navigate best practices. Once the system is in the cloud you will be maintaining it.
- 5-8+ years of experience with programing and automation tools and a strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and security principles
- Azure Fundamentals certification
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, and strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Awareness of cloud security concepts and best practices, including and access management, data protection, and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) source code management, and infrastructure as code.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans
- Additional certifications are a plus
