Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Product Manager to join the DTC Product Privacy team. This team member will report to the Sr. Director of Product Privacy & Data Governance. The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, collaborative, and data driven. They will be a highly effective communicator and can build trust with all areas of the business. This role will be working cross-functionally within the Product & Design organization across multiple product verticals, engineering, legal, data science, analytics, advertising, and marketing with a focus on User Privacy and Compliance across all our DTC products and brands.

The person in this role will be defining scalable solutions that integrate across the company DTC platforms supporting a wide range of product clients, data use cases, and business platforms. The candidate will be motivated to dive deep into the rapidly evolving tech landscape, rapidly changing regulatory environment, and legal nuances across multiple global regions where we operate.
They must be comfortable regularly engaging with executive leadership to effectively communicate governance and compliance requirements and secure alignment on product roadmap priorities. The role requires someone who can work autonomously, has strong organizational and analytical skills, and is a proven collaborator and problem solver.
Role Accountabilities
Gather, define, and clearly document data use cases through partnership with stakeholders, including but not limited to stakeholders from:
Data Science (ML/AI)
Advertising
Marketing
Analytics
Experimentation
Research
Fraud & Abuse
Own key subject areas for the Data Use Case program and act as an SME and reviewer for all use cases in that space
Share legal requirements across multiple stakeholder groups, receive feedback, and work with Privacy Legal to make appropriate decisions toward requirements refinement
Adeptly translate between legal requirements language and engineering requirements / implementation solutions to help catch lost-in-translation errors
Operate well in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge, drill into business data and research results to identify clear direction and focus
Partner with peer Product Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Program Managers to identify, evaluate, and document 1st and 3rd party data use cases and technical solutions
Evaluate and recommend innovations and enhancements to improve Governance tooling for documentation, tracking, and metrics
Manage the roadmap for Product Privacy & Data Governance across all Direct-To-Consumer products and brands
Build healthy, trusting relationships and contribute to a culture of respect by giving feedback respectfully, exchanging ideas openly, and receiving feedback humbly
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of Data Governance or backend/platform Product Management experience within a technology or digital organization
2+ years of privacy or compliance experience within a consumer facing product, especially working within privacy regulatory frameworks like CPRA and GDPR
2+ years of experience with technical frameworks in the MarTech and/or AdTech space
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on documentation that communicates complex subject matter simply and clearly (technical writing)
Proficiency with creating data flows and analyzing technical architecture diagrams
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Experience partnering with technical teams on highly complex projects
Formal and informal presentation skills in small and large group settings
