Job Description
An employer is looking for a remote Adobe Developer (Target/Launch) working PST hours. The Adobe Target/Launch Developer will implement tagging and AB/XT test using Adobe Experience Cloud platform supporting organization's reporting, analytics, and personalization objective. Responsible for application development supporting business objectives while providing mid-level experience in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to testing. Analyses, designs, and builds component-based applications including introduction of an application layer, modeling techniques, component and object-oriented design, sophisticated algorithmic coding, and detailed approaches to application integration. Works on new and existing applications. Performs hands-on coding and assists in architecting solutions. May serve as liaison to internal customers, research groups and various business support areas.
-Develops functionality by following internal development standards. Technical solution to include detailed design documentation, code, configuration, and other supporting technical documents.
-Collaborate with Web Analytics team to conceptualize reporting strategies for the consumer facing website.
-Implement and maintain the tracking of user behavior on public-facing website using Adobe Launch tag management system, to provide data for use in Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target.
-Design and develop a structured data layer for website to ensure accurate data collection.
-Maintain tracking updates to ensure Adobe Analytics remains up-to-date and accurate.
-Deploy 3rd party tracking pixels and maintain a log of active pixels vs expired tracking pixels.
-Use Adobe Target to deploy A/B tests and personalized experiences to improve user experience and key conversion goals.
-Monitor website tracking performance using standard tools.
-Troubleshoot front end performance issues related to tagging and testing using JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML.
Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of front-end development experience and a solid grasp of industry direction.
-Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related subject area preferred)
-Solid grasp in Adobe Target and Adobe Launch.
-Advanced level proficiency with modern web technologies, including HTML, CSS, Javascript, with detailed knowledge of browser dependencies and cross-platform issues.
-Advanced level proficiency with client-side scripting technologies using Javascript.
-Proficient in vanilla JavaScript (ES5 and ES6), to extract data from the DOM, manipulate DOM layout, in an asynchronous manner.
-Familiar with server-side programming, web scripting, and template languages is highly desired (e.g., JSP, Java).
-Good understanding of software development engineering principles, frameworks and technologies.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Any experience working in AEM is preferred.
-Adobe Certificate preferred. (Adobe Target or Adobe Analytics Launch)
