A client is looking for an HRIS Project Manager to oversee a multi-year initiative of process improvements, system enhancements, and bug fixes/changes for their HRIS system (Peoplesoft). This resource will need to meet with a 3rd party group to gather requirements, relay to technical teams, manage feedback loops for requirements and design, etc. The role will be 70% functional and 30% technical, as their main stakeholders are functional teams that are users on downstream applications. Previous experience within higher education environments or within Peoplesoft are pluses, but not required.
- 3-5 Years of Project Management experience gathering requirements, tracking milestones and working with cross functional teams
- At least 2 years of experience running projects within an HRIS/HCM system
- Previous experience running with multiple ongoing projects simultaneously, and the ability to manage them autonomously
- Ability to translate requirements to functional teams and manage testing and change management within an application
- Comfortability with collaboration tools to conduct and present in meetings (i.e. MS Outlook, Zoom, etc.)
- Human Capital Management System Experience (Peoplesoft or UCPath preferred)
- Experience in Higher Education Environment
- Experience using Smartsheets
