The Information Technology Services organization is seeking an experienced technical leader with exceptional commitment to service excellence to join our team as the Boundary Systems Retrofit Lead for our Ascend Program. As the Boundary Systems Retrofit Lead, you will collaborate with a diverse and talented team to enable world-class, leading-edge technologies to support the delivery of our new financial system based upon Oracle Cloud Financials.
The Boundary System Retrofit Lead is responsible for overseeing the application integration of the boundary systems in conjunction with the Oracle Cloud Financials system. The person in this role will collaborate with application owners and stakeholders across campus to analyze, plan and implement application programming interfaces to ensure boundary systems are able to consume and produce data with the new Oracle platform. The Retrofit Lead will conduct advanced technical analysis of existing applications, design application integration requirements, and ensures data quality through thorough testing. The Retrofit Lead applies advanced knowledge and experience in application integration, enterprise systems platforms (ERP), project management to ensure impacted applications can leverage the new platform data Additionally, the Retrofit Lead acts as an advisor and technical subject matter expert to aid distributed organizations with leveraging the new financial system and its capabilities within their applications.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience working in the design and development space working on mission critical or enterprise applications.
- Experience contributing to technical documentation including designs, diagrams, and workflows.
- Experience support Oracle Financial Cloud ERP integration projects as a technical lead.
- Experience developing and executing retrofitting plans for boundary systems.
- Knowledge of application integration technologies and standards, data conversion, and IAM.
- Strong communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working within the higher education space.
- Experience with multiple application integration design patterns on one of the middleware platforms (e.g. AWS, Mule, Dell, and IBM)
- Understanding of data integration patterns and architectures including an familiarity with ETL processes on various platforms such as SQLServer, Oracle Cloud based relational and non-relational databases.
