Job Description

An employer based in the Los Angeles area is looking for a Roku Developer working remotely in either LA, NY, SF, Seattle and Atlanta. You will be supporting an internal facing video streaming application (such as Netflix or HBO) for specific clients and internal employees only. They can view pre-release content, before it is released to the public, so experience with privacy rights, management and procedures are important. This person will be working on the ROKU platform specifically. They will be working alongside other developers that do iOS, Andoid and Web, but there is only 1 developer per platform, so the Roku Developer will be managing the ROKU platform on their own. They must be confident and self sufficient. They will be maintaining and updating the application, as well as troubleshooting, fixing bugs and certain features. They also need experience in packaging the finished application and publishing it to the App Store.

Day to day breakdown:

35%: Maintaining the suite of native Roku applications for our B2B video streaming products.

35%: Implementing new features, creating production builds, and deploying apps on the Roku Channel Store

20%: Solving bugs and support tickets

10%: other tasks assigned by the supervisor
