Job Description

- Management of portfolio/program of construction projects as it relates to IT Facilities, Infrastructure, and IT Technology.

- Act as IT Facilities project manager for various infrastructure, hardware, and software deployments, including but not limited to Facilities Planning & Development construction projects.

- Develop project schedules, coordinate resources, communicate to teams to ensure project schedule is on track and within-budget with resources allocated.

- Schedule, assist with, and participate in meetings with department contacts, project stakeholders, hospital leadership, outside vendors, FP&D and other technology teams to understand and document technology and project related requirements.

- Conduct analysis to define requirements, tasks, dependencies, costs, risks, timelines, and staffing needs related to projects to reflect appropriate organizational requirements.

- Working with IT Business Services: establish and maintain the standard process of acquiring of all (non-clinical engineering related) hardware as it relates to the project.

- Work with vendor(s) and CSS staff to maintain established quality standards for project procured/received equipment.

- Work with CSS and other support staff to maintain an inventory database of all Information Technology client computing equipment. Provide updates and ad-hoc reports when necessary.

- Collaborate with Clinical Engineering, Unified Communications (Voice & Data), FD&C, FIG, Planning, to ensure all project deliverables are met.

- Act as point of contact for initial questions related to infrastructure projects during design/planning, implementation and go-live.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of experience managing IT healthcare and construction projects.

- Proven experience working with IT infrastructure and equipment (desktop equipment, clinical equipment, infrastructure, low voltage systems, etc.)

- Demonstrated experience in successfully organizing and managing multiple projects, with varying workloads, in a dynamic team environment and coordinate resources in a matrixed environment.

- Experience in conducting technical assessments, preparing reports, and recommend results and solutions, concisely and clearly.

- Proven ability to work with high-level administrators, leaders, faculty, staff, and unsophisticated users effectively.
