Job Description

A client within the streaming domain is seeking a strong Sr. UX Designer to join the Content Systems Product team within the larger product organization; you will work alongside another Sr. UX Designer to design content management tools that support the company's service/product in order to improve the reliability and consistency of the overall experience across platforms. The main goal of this role include helping lead the design of internal tool features, while partnering with platform-specific teams for implementation and iterative improvements, while ensuring a congruent and consistent user experience across all content platforms. This team is in the process of moving away from a legacy CMS system and to a next generation CMS system, so having to methodically migrate functionalities from the legacy system to the new system and coming up with new workflow enhancements are required. The CMS is not external customer-facing, for it is for programming partners to use to find movies, schedule launch campaigns, program scheduling, etc. In addition, you will be responsible for another project that includes an 'Assemble/Component Library'. The goal is to create a command center type of environment which takes three products that run on separate apps and unify them to create one platform that they will all sit on, which will ultimately better the overall user experience. The stakeholders you'll be interfacing with include those from the Product, UX, and Engineering teams; you will interview these stakeholders to understand what works and what doesn't work about the legacy systems that are in place. Communicating the user experience to executives, developers, and

stakeholders at various stages of the design process through journey maps, wireframes, flow diagrams, mockups or high fidelity prototypes

and task tracking tools is highly important for this role. You will attend all daily stand up meetings, backlog grooming meetings, as well as be a part of PI planning meetings. This team is looking for a go-getter and someone who can come in and hit the ground running and be a collaborative asset to the team.
