Job Description

A Client in Los Angeles, CA is looking to hire a Data Center Technician to join their team. This Remote Hands Technician will get to work in a team oriented enviornment and enhance their technical skills in the data center. This client is wanting someone who has at least two years of hands on experience in the data center doing cable management, replacing hard drives, troubleshooting desktops/laptops, and rack and stack servers. 80% of this person's day will be physical, handling customer tickets, and following instructions from the customer requests, while 20% of their day will be updating and documenting their work on their computer. It is crucial this person have a willingness to learn and grow, work well with others, but also able to take iniative instead of waiting around to be given direction. This is a great opportunity to be exposed to a variety of customers, enhance one's technical skills, and grow within the company. This data center is open 24/7 therefore the client is looking for someone who has a flexible schedule, but the work week is a 40 hour work week with some days onsite, some days off.

Required Skills & Experience

-1-3 years working in a data center racking and stacking servers, cable management, replacing hard drives, troubleshooting desktops/laptops

-High School Diploma or GED

-Comfortable working onsite as well as standing, sitting, kneeling, etc. due to this being a physical job

-Must be flexible with working schedule and this person will most likely be working 2nd shift 3pm-12am.

-Enjoys working on a team, but also knows how to take initiative and is a self starter with a willingness to learn
