We're looking for a sharp, action-oriented Marketing Technology Associate to join Team Snapchat and hit the ground running! You will have the opportunity to engage, learn, and grow within a variety of key workstreams that are critical to the operational success of our Marketing Department.



What you'll do:



Exhibit a working knowledge of the department's key marketing technology systems, and execute critical marketing technology projects and tasks in an independent, timely and proficient manner.

Partner with Marketing and external stakeholders to program manage Marketing Operations & Automation projects; involves requirements gathering, collaborating with internal and XFN stakeholders, coordination/scheduling, providing updates, and generally driving projects from start to finish.

Identify and trouble-shoot issues as they arise (offering solutions and recommendations where possible).

Act as the source of truth for any and all Email Marketing and CMS needs for the Marketing department as a whole.

Manage projects across various marketing technologies, and provide proactive, strategic support to the broader Marketing team around these systems in order to effectively execute on planned marketing initiatives. Specific focus areas would include:

Email Marketing (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

Design, develop, test, and deploy all email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud; ensure emails are optimized, user and mobile-friendly, templates are accurately configured, and timely deployments

Build and implement process for intaking email marketing campaign requests and pipeline management

Build and optimize automations and journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Monitor and analyze email performance; report key metrics to Marketing stakeholders and external collaborators as needed

Ensure that all elements required for successful email deployment are accurate and in place before delivery including proofreading emails for brand guideline adherence, meeting strict deadlines for email review and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner

Lead design and production of all email templates working closely with agencies and internal creatives on layout; manage multiple templates and optimizes their use based on performance and in accordance with GDPR regulation

Schedule email sends and manage the email calendar

Help implement new CRM programs as we expand usage of Marketing Cloud to new segments

CMS (Contentful)

Develop proficiency in our content management system used to manage all Snapchat websites

Leverage advanced proficiency to publish new marketing content to our various websites across multiple verticals

Create a process to streamline intake of web requests/edits

Required Skills & Experience

Completed Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing

3+ years of relevant experience across CRM and CMS platforms

Prior experience working with email marketing automation platforms including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, preferably in similar role

Proven experience with project management collaborating with multiple stakeholders

Comfort with strategic thought leadership and hands-on keyboard executional efficiency

Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS and A/B Testing

Bonus points for comfort with SQL

Strong proofreading and editing skills required

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification a plus

Proven work experience in growing, engaging with, and analyzing the performance of a large email marketing database

Prior experience with a CMS or Website builder

Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to handle multiple requests from stakeholders, competing priorities, and frequently changing deadlines

Must have excellent time management skills and attention to detail
