A client of Insight Global is looking for three Junior Pega QAs to join a project team. Candidates will conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy. Candidates will work with developers, business analysts, and client partners to identify and resolve issues with system changes and assist with system analysis.
* Design and develop test scripts, identify and create test data, and perform test execution using testing tools
* Track progress of testing activities and communicate progress to the Test Manager or directly to the client
* Interact with and mentor other team members and clients to ensure a quality solution
* Participate in defect triage meetings with client stakeholders
* Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
* Provide support to client staff during their preparation and execution of User Acceptance Testing
* Ensure internal documentation is updated to reflect system changes
* Identify program deviance from standards, and suggest modifications to ensure compliance
* 5+ years in quality assurance, test strategy, test planning, test execution
* 3+ years' experience testing in Pega
* Thorough working knowledge of the entire SDLC- Waterfall, IT systems and processes, testing methodologies and their direct implementation to projects
* Experience in analyzing and decomposing requirements and creating testing strategy plan as well as testing estimates and work plan
* Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines while maintaining quality requirements
* Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills to a structured testing process
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate to client and internal team members
* An independent worker that is able to prioritize own work activities with minimal guidance
* Ability to troubleshoot testing issues and escalate appropriately
