Job Description
Our client is looking for 2 Azure Administrator's to join their technology consulting firm for a project with a State of California client. This team will be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:
Azure
- Assigning role-based access control (RBAC) to users and groups for managing resources
- Configuring authentication and authorization for Azure resources
- Managing Azure subscriptions and resource groups
- Managing Azure AD users and groups
- Monitoring and analyzing resource utilization and cost
- Install, configure, administer, manage, and support Azure resources
- Identify improvements to IT documentation, network maps, processes/procedures, and tickets
- Keep all tickets and projects updated and track time in a detailed format
Office 365
* Managing OneDrive for Business
- Managing and configuring Microsoft Teams, including setting up and managing audio and video conferencing
- Managing and monitoring Exchange Online, including managing mailboxes, calendars
Active Directory
- Managing users, computers, and security groups
- Managing and monitoring access to resources, including file servers and shared folders
- Managing user accounts, including creating and deleting user accounts, resetting passwords, and managing user licenses
- Managing distribution groups and security groups, including adding and removing members and managing group permissions
- Configuring and managing email settings, including email addresses, auto-replies, and email forwarding
- Understanding of Organizational Units, Group Policies, and AD permissions
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 years of relevant Microsoft Azure Administrator Experience
- Hands-on experience in system administration of Azure active directory accounts and groups, and Active Directory users and groups
- Knowledge of various cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, & SaaS)
- Must have hand-on experience with implementation, management, and support of Azure environment
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (Required)
- Bachelor's degree preferred, can substitute relative experience in lieu of degree
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Prior experience working at an ISP/Managed Services/IT Services company
