Job Description

Insight Global is seeking to find a Payments Coordinator for a client in the San Francisco Bay Area. This person will be an integral part of the companies Marketplace Operations team, driving real impact as they scale a key part of their business. Their marketplace business is growing rapidly, and they are looking for an incredibly organized and detail-oriented Payments Coordinator to support payment processing for their growing volume of carbon removal and clean power transactions. This candidate will be responsible for owning their marketplace payments process including all supplier payments, customer invoices, and payments statuses across all marketplace transactions. They will be partnering with the Finance team to ensure transactions are logged, organized, and processed correctly and efficiently. Other responsibilities include tracking marketplace purchase statuses from contract signature to customer delivery and running ad hoc projects as needed. This person needs to have strong written and verbal communication skills as they will be dealing with clients and vendors directly on a day basis. The ideal candidate will be local to San Francisco and able to go onsite 1-2 days per week, but the hiring manager is open to interviewing fully remote candidates in PST as well.

Required Skills & Experience

2-5 years of experience within a payment's coordination role (AP/AR/Invoicing)



Experience with Stripe OR Bill.Com (payment and invoicing software)



Proficient with G-Suite (Google Sheets most important)



Prior experience with payments processing, creating invoices, and sending payments to external clients and vendors



Experience generating contracts for new vendors/suppliers



Experience efficiently managing very detail-oriented workstreams, including purchasing transactions



Strong written and verbal communications skills- this role will be client facing

Salesforce Experience



Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
