The role will assist the product manager who is the ultimate owner for the entire delivery life cycle, from identifying impacted areas and the right candidates, scope, requirements, technology delivery governance, design, testing, timeline, and budget. The role requires exceptional communication skills and an ability to build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved. The Product manager will be a visible and influential people leader, able to inspire, guide and train resources.





Key Responsibilities:

The associate product manager will help manage a portfolio of initiatives (or "Product") at The Bank. The associate product manager will specialize in multiple areas, should be extremely adaptable, and will demonstrate the ability to manage a cross functional matrixed team of up to 20 resources, delivering multiple highly complex projects/solutions. S/He will help in the implementation of a "product" and leading the cross-functional IS team that is responsible for improving it. The Associate Product Manager will help align the cross functional IS teams re: the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for a product and will be responsible for communicating the Why and What of the product, and jointly defining the When and How of the product.

Required Skills & Experience

- Must be hybrid onsite in SF or NYC

-3-5 years experience as a Product Manager working in a digital banking environment

-Experience working on digital products (mobile, web, API, or Cloud Storage)

- Diagramming proficiency: Proficiency with UML, specifically Use Case, Activity, and Class diagrams

-Ability to create a diagram a day- Gather info in the morning then draw up a rough draft by the afternoon.

-Types of diagrams are 1. use case set 2. business process modeling (BPMN) 3. data objects 4. state transitions 5. data flows

- Experience with business and technical requirements analysis and business workflow development

- Experience with User Acceptance Testing

- Ability to evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and general understanding

- Experience using Jira

- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (waterfall, Agile)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to communicate complex technical topics to business partners.

- Ability to think strategically and possess strong project management skills

- Excellent analytical and data analysis skills

- Team oriented, able to work effectively with business personnel as well as outside vendors and contractors

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience working in a treasury environment

- Experience working on payment platforms (Zelle, Wire transfer, ACH, etc)

- Corporate products (e.g.; Information Reporting, Money Movement, Entitlements, Platform, Security Tools)
