A utilities company is looking for a fully remote Sr. Category Manager to join their procurement team! This individual executes contract related activities and processes associated with the procurement of goods and services. This role requires collaboration with Business Unit managers and support staff, as well as the ability to work on cross-functional teams within Supply Management and throughout the organization. The Category Manager prepares contract-related documents including, but not limited to, contract amendments, change orders and contract release orders. The Category Manager also receives requisitions, develops and executes requests for quotations, leads negotiations contracts for low-value materials and services not directly managed by the category management portfolio teams. This is a fully remote, full time position!
5+ years of experience in a buyer/contracts/procurement/supply chain position
Experience with full life cycle RFP processes (from identification of need through to redlines and post-award duties)
Experience working with procurement to cut releases/purchase orders for vendors
Experience sourcing specifically for services
Experience in the utilities industry
