Job Description
The Salesforce Developer reports to the Sr. Manager, CRM and Leasing Applications and works closely with the Leasing Application Business Analysts, Salesforce Engineering Team, Leasing Product Owner, and other URW departments and will play a role in maximizing the efficiency of our two Salesforce instances. This role will be responsible for the design, development, unit testing and implementation of customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations. You will be responsible for demonstrating the ability to effectively research and communicate complex technical issues and resolve problems at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience with Salesforce with demonstrated increasing responsibilities
- Minimum certification of Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I
- 2+ years of experience with Force.com developer toolkit - Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Component Framework Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs
- Proficiency in HTML, XML, SQL, Java or C++, SOAP and REST-based web services, JSON, FLEX, CSS and Jquery frame works.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, etc.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and development competency around MS SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle
- Previous systems integration experience (preferably JDE) and Experience integrating Salesforce with 3rd party system using web services and app exchange apps.
- Working with integrated applications such as Conga Composer and Docusign.
- Experience with software development outside of the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Strong ability to manage multiple activities in a deadline-oriented environment; highly organized and flexible with fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills.
- Minimum education of Bachelor's
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with web application development technologies like JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, AngularJS and Twitter Bootstrap is preferred
