Job Description

A client in Irvine, CA is seeking a Software Deployment Project Manager to work a long term contract helping out with a large scale rollout. This company is going to be rolling out a new back of house software to all of its' stores and needs a Project Manager to oversee the project and work with the engineering and implementation teams. We are looking for a strong IT PM who has experience overseeing a large scale project where a company has deployed a software to hundreds of sites. The company is looking to roll the software out to 200-600 stores in 2022 with an aggressive plan to scale to 5,000-7,000 stores in 2023. We are looking for someone local to Irvine, CA and this will be hybrid (onsite/remote). This will be a contract until at least the end of 2023, potentially going full time or extending after!

Required Skills & Experience

5-8+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager (ideally software)/ Program Management

Experience overseeing a large scale software roll-out/deployment (i.e. rolling out a new software to multiple sites/locations, ideally hundreds or thousands)

Proven ability to lead teams in a collaborative environment and partner well with technical functionals to obtain alignment throughout the organization

Manage and oversee tactical day to day activities of team as well as ability to develop strategic plans and understand the big picture

Excellent communication skills and ability to think ahead of problems and quickly adapt when issues arise

Experience working with project management software - MS Project, Smartsheets, etc.

Quick Service Restaurant Industry experience (or hospitality such as hotels, retails, casinos, etc.)

PMP certification
