Job Description

An employer in North County San Diego is looking for a Manual QA Analyst. This individual will be responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans and process plans for automated and robotic pharmacy products. This is a key role in implementing company and regulatory quality standards for product manufacturing. The position drives audits and reviews quality data according to existing procedures. The QA Analyst will be working hands on with the robotic automated equipment, performing the end-to-end manual testing on the hardware and software, black box, boundary, dependency, regression, and performance testing. This individual will be documenting use cases, writing SQL queries, documenting test results, identifying defects and remedies in the production process, working with customer support on troubleshooting issues, and also making recommendations for preventative measures. This is a full-time, direct hire role, and is required to be onsite at the Vista, CA location.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's degree in related field, or 2+ years in a QA role

-Strong background in manual black box testing

-Experience writing test plans and test cases

-Experience in quality inspection, auditing and testing for both hardware/devices and software

-Ability to work within urgent timelines and handle multiple tasks

-Strong technical and computer skills, working within various databases, applications, and Windows 7 & 10

-Highly detail oriented, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail

-Team player who can work well with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience performing QA on medical devices or related devices/equipment/hardware
