Job Description

Our client is looking for two people to join their Forensics Team to assist with a special project for a 10-month period. The project involves the transfer of sensitive forensics case data currently existing on hard drives and disc media to a cloud storage location. These individuals will be responsible for taking all the hard drives and discs out of the evidence bags, uploading the information to the cloud, and then logging the migration in the client system. In addition to the technical work involved, there are also several administrative tasks to be completed that are highly important to this project.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

- 2+ years of experience in a technical role (e.g., desktop support, system administrator) -- strong technical aptitude with basic trouble shooting skills

- Demonstrated knowledge of basic technical skills associated with an A+ or like certification

- Basic knowledge of networks

- Proficient with Microsoft applications Outlook, Word and Excel.

- Experience & demonstrated proficiency with data entry (proprietary application to be utilized)

- Reliability -- the project must be completed within a particular timeframe, therefore daily attendance as scheduled is crucial

- Attention to detail -- ability to follow strict processes to ensure data security

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

- Associate or higher-level degree in a computer related field

- IT certifications such as A+ and Network+

- Experience handling confidential data in a secure location
