Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Analyst to assist in a large supply chain project for a medical device company located in Irvine, CA. This person will be working remotely until further notice. This candidate will be driving supply chain activities for assigned product portfolio including demand planning, new product launch planning, supply planning, inventory planning, and distribution planning. This person will be responsible for attaining and driving improvement to Key Performance Indicators, including forecast accuracy (MAPE, BIAS), inventory entitlement, Slow Moving/Obsolete (SLOB), and customer service (OTIF). They will also be supporting the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process for assigned product portfolio in order to align market and financial requirements with manufacturing capabilities. Additionally, this person will be responsible for supply chain reporting including forecast waterfall, inventory, customer service (OTIF) fill rate, forecast consumption, and ad-hoc analysis. This person needs to have actual supply chain planning experience, and familiar with E2E supply chain principles.
Minimum Requirements
3-5+ years of experience within supply chain planning, Operations, and/or other business
Previous experience with demand, inventory, and/or supply planning
Advanced excel skills- proven analytical/ quantitative skills are required
Experience with analytics, data modeling, and scenario planning/building
Project management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making, work effectively, and implement solutions in a cross-functional, team environment
MRP, APS, and/or ERP systems experience
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics, or Operations) is required.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Desired Skills
Manugistics, JDE, or SAP experience
APICS certification is preferred
SQL writing experience
Scenario planning experience
Experience leading or executing a major project
