Job Description
An employer for a retail and marketing agency is looking for an Application Security Engineer to build this team (be the 1st person on the team). This person be tasked to implement application security programs/tools, work with developers to resolve issues prior to deployment, once the final product is selected and integrate in CI/CD pipeline. This person will be a resource to help the developers, and do the static testing, threshold, critical vulnerability management. This person will be working closely will the developers to resolve the issues so need to understand their language/tools they are working on.
**This role is 100% REMOTE - flexible in any time zone**
**The employment would be a 6 MONTH CONTRACT, with possibility to be converted to Full Time Employee based on performance**
Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of experience as an Application Security Engineer/Developer (programming/development experience
-CI/CD Experience (experience working with stand ups, mature programs, fast standards, ticketing systems, how did they connect it to the CI/CD pipeline, etc)
-SCA/SAST / DAST (Static Application Security Testing & Dynamic Application Security Testing)
-2+ years of experience with Synopsys, WhiteHat, or Veracode
-Experience reading code in Javascript, C#, Python, Kotlin, Swift (iOS)

BA Degree/MBA
Security Based Certifications
RASP, BLA
