Job Description

IDEMIA is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Jr. QA Engineer to join their team in Anaheim, CA. This position is remote, however, local to Orange County is preferred because the team works onsite once every two weeks. Daily, this individual will be test, integrate, and perform devops to support the development team.



Responsibilities for this position include:

- Develops, prepares and executes test plans, procedures and schedules

- Plans and conducts testing including using programming languages for test automation

- Includes the test plan automated as much as possible in the CI/CD chain, - Performs analysis of test results

- Reports incidents during test execution and tracks them until closure

- Performs regression and ad-hoc testing depending on changes

- Ensures requirements are fully covered by tests

- Contributes and validates documentations as per project deliveries (configuration, users' guides, etc.).

Required Skills & Experience

Analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and customer oriented

Knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows, etc.) and databases (Oracle, etc.)

Knowledge of testing and monitoring tools (Selenium, Postman, Junit, etc.)

Knowledge in programming languages (Java, Scripting languages Python/Bash, Maven, etc.)

Understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks (BDD, unit tests, integration tests, API contracts, etc),

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Automation experience

Knowledge of testing management tools (Jira and XRay)
