Job Description

Our client, a leading athleisure retailer, is seeking a Senior Digital Analyst to drive data-informed decision-making across their eCommerce platform. This role requires a highly proactive analyst who goes beyond reporting—delivering insights, hypotheses, and recommendations that influence product, marketing, and guest experience.
The ideal candidate operates with a strong sense of ownership, challenges stakeholder asks, and translates complex data into actionable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities


Insight Generation & Ownership

Proactively analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and root causes (not just surface-level reporting)
Go beyond A/B test results to explain why performance changed and propose next iterations
Develop hypotheses and guide stakeholders toward data-driven decisions



Stakeholder Partnership

Partner with product, eCommerce, and marketing teams across the digital funnel (homepage, checkout, fulfillment, etc.)
Challenge and refine requests (e.g., KPI asks) to ensure alignment with business objectives
Communicate insights clearly and confidently, balancing collaboration with subject-matter expertise



Analytics & Data Management

Work across multiple analytics platforms, primarily GA4 (preferred) and Adobe Analytics
Leverage Snowflake and SQL to combine and analyze data from multiple sources
Build and maintain custom data models and calculated metrics



Reporting & Visualization

Develop scalable, automated Power BI dashboards
Optimize report performance (fast load times, efficient data models)
Translate findings into clear, visually compelling PowerPoint presentations for stakeholders



Experimentation

Support and analyze A/B testing initiatives
Interpret results with statistical rigor and provide clear direction when tests are inconclusive

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of digital analytics experience, preferably in B2C eCommerce or retail
Strong expertise in Google Analytics (GA4) or Adobe Analytics (Google is prefered)
Advanced SQL skills, with hands-on experience in Snowflake
Experience building custom data models and working within BI-driven environments
Proven experience with Power BI (dashboard development, optimization, automation)
Strong understanding of eCommerce metrics and customer behavior
Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations
Highly proactive and curious—does not wait for direction
Strong communication and storytelling skills
Comfortable challenging stakeholders and asking “why”
Collaborative, responsive, and engaged team player
Balances consultative approach with analytical authority

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience optimizing end-to-end eCommerce journeys
Background in ecommerce analytics
