Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a dynamic Change Analyst to support the development and implementation of change management strategies, engaging and collaborating with cross functional groups to deliver effective change outcomes. This role is expected to have 5+ years of relevant experience.
This role supports the coordination and delivery of enterprise data products through an Enterprise Data Exchange. Responsibilities include managing intake and review processes, coordinating data product change requests and incidents, assessing downstream impacts, and ensuring producers and consumers are aligned on required actions, timelines, and standards. The Change Analyst also supports governance checks related to metadata, ownership, and publishing requirements and brings strong cross functional coordination alongside technical understanding of data products, dependencies, and downstream impacts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support development and implementation of change management strategies for business transformation initiatives
• Engage and collaborate with key functional groups and partners to deliver change strategies
• Support and provide guidance on program management and operational activities
• Manage intake, review, and coordination of data product change requests and incidents
• Assess downstream and upstream impacts related to data product, logic, schema, timing, and access changes
• Coordinate communication and alignment across producers, consumers, governance, and platform teams
• Support governance checks related to metadata, ownership, and publishing standards
• Create, maintain, and manage documentation; support knowledge transfer activities
• Support communication and coordination during incidents, production changes, and publishing delays
Skills Required:
• Cross functional coordination, working across producers, consumers, governance, and platform teams to move changes forward
• Technical understanding of SQL, Snowflake, and data products, including pipelines, views, metadata, lineage, dependencies, and publishing practices
• Process and workflow management, managing intake, approvals, handoffs, change tracking, and follow through
• Business and technical translation, bridging technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of change impacts
• Change impact analysis, assessing downstream impacts of data product and logic changes
• Stakeholder communication, translating complex technical changes into clear, business facing communication and action
• Governance and standards awareness, understanding metadata, ownership, controls, and publishing requirements; data governance tools are a plus
• Risk and dependency management, identifying blockers, impacted consumers, and dependencies early
• Incident and change coordination, supporting communication and coordination during incidents, production changes, or delays
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

Required Skills & Experience
• 3–5+ years of experience supporting change management and or large scale data transformation initiatives
• Ability to bridge business and technical gaps in the understanding of change implications
• Technical understanding of SQL, Snowflake, and data products
• Experience setting data governance standards and understanding of metadata, ownership, controls, and publishing requirements
• Strong process and workflow management
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related discipline

•Experience with Visio
•Strong knowledge of Data Governance tools
