Insight Global is seeking a skilled Project Manager/Engineer will lead the development of a large‑scale natural gas power plant project, overseeing early‑stage concept development through detailed design. This role drives requirement gathering, scope definition, technical direction, and coordination across electrical, gas, and rotating equipment domains. The Project Manager/Engineer will partner closely with EPC firms to align on schedules, budgets, engineering deliverables, and execution strategy. Day‑to‑day work includes shaping the technical approach to address energy‑capacity needs, optimizing plant configuration, preparing leadership updates, and ensuring fast‑paced, high‑quality project advancement.

Required Skills & Experience
Front‑End Project Development Experience (specifically in Thermo-generation Projects)
- Has led early‑stage development of gas‑fired or Thermo-generation facilities (Class 3/Class 4, feasibility, concept selection, scoping).
Previous Power Plant Experience (Preferred: Simple Cycle Gas Turbine) or Compressor Station experience
- Hands‑on experience designing or building natural gas power plants, including turbine‑generator systems.
Strong understanding of heavy natural gas processing equipment and rotating machinery.
Project Management Expertise in EPC Environments
- Able to manage engineering workflows, design packages, schedules, and cross‑functional coordination with tight turnaround expectations.
8+ Project Engineering Experience + P.Engineer Cerification Required
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, PDF tools, and engineering modeling software.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PMP certification
Experience completing front‑end engineering classifications (Class 3 / Class 4).
Prior work on U.S.-based power or gas projects.
Experience directly leading or contributing to early‑stage power plant conceptualization.
