Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Platform Engineer to support the Digital Workplace team at a large retail client. This team enables seamless, best in class experiences for the global workforce by delivering secure, scalable solutions. Partnering closely with security, infrastructure, and identity teams, we empower the business to support enterprise initiatives and the growth and development of our people, while enabling strong collaboration across our global population.
Core Responsibilities :
• 50% dedication to Sharepoint engineering,
• Are a main contributor in Agile ceremonies
• Provide mentorship and facilitate engineering training for a team of Engineers
• Perform and delegate engineering assignments to ensure production readiness is maintained
• Conduct research to aid in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts
• Conduct research to guide product development and tools selection
• Provide an escalation point and participate in on-call support rotations
• Actively monitor key metrics and report on trends
• Contribute to engineering automation, management or development of production level systems
• Contribute to project engineering design and standards verification
• Perform reliability monitoring and support as needed to ensure products meet guest expectations

Required Skills & Experience
• 5-7+ years of platform, dev ops, and/or shared services experience engineering within the Microsoft Suite of Applications
• Experience with Microsoft 365 suite, in particular Sharepoint, Teams, CoPilot, etc.
• Experience with scripting automation for data extraction and manual task automation utilizing Powershell and Python
• Security, access management and integrations experience within Sharepoint
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise scale application solutions across multiple teams and business domains.
• Deep expertise in enterprise SaaS platforms, with strong judgment in configuration, low code, and custom development trade offs.
• Demonstrated understanding of current and upcoming enterprise AI features, drawbacks, and security best practices.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Business Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.

• Strong technical leadership, including mentoring engineers and influencing solution design beyond immediate team boundaries
