Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Front End Developer to join a major retail company in Vancouver, BC or Seattle, WA. The successful candidate will produce the experience vision for the client's costing application - defining what purpose the app fulfils in th elives of internal and external users and visualizing how the apps will fulfill that purpose, ultimately painting a clear picture of the future user experience that results in a roadmap for delivery. Other duties and responsibilities include:
Develops the principles, standards, and experience guard rails to ensure a cohesive and purposeful end to end app experience
Help/lead the development team by designing features within the app
Delivers mockups, prototypes as needed
Collaborate with design focused developers to ideate, prototype, and architect technical implementation strategy—to materialize the most ambitious design ideas.
Acts as the UX expert and advisor to the team

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in Product Design or User Experience, with hands-on experience designing complex web applications
Expert level proficiency in designing and prototyping complex workflows using Figma, Sketch, InVision, or similar tools
End-to-end Human-Centered Design expertise, spanning UX strategy, interaction design, user research, prototyping, visual design and user adoption
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and deliver compelling presentations to executive stakeholders
A strong portfolio demonstrating intuitive, well-designed web and app experiences, showcasing complex workflows and high-quality design execution
