Insight Global is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (Senior M365 Engineer) for a top enterprise retail client. This individual will serve as a technical leader and primary owner of Microsoft 365 platforms, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable service delivery across the organization. The role focuses on identity, security, compliance, and operational excellence while partnering closely with engineering teams to drive automation, optimize performance, and support large-scale enterprise initiatives. Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 / infrastructure engineering
Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Experience with Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity & Access Management (IAM)
Strong experience with Exchange Online
Knowledge of email security protocols (DMARC, DKIM, SPF)
Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments
Ability to act as an escalation point for complex M365 incidents
Experience participating in on-call support rotations
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Microsoft Defender for Office 365
Knowledge of compliance tools (Retention, Litigation Hold, eDiscovery)
Experience with M365 licensing and cost optimization
Familiarity with Agile delivery environments
Experience mentoring junior engineers
