Job Description

Our client is seeking a Legal Assistant to support lawyers within their Estates, Trusts, and Tax practice group. This role is primarily focused on solicitor-based tax and estate planning matters, including corporate reorganizations, trust structuring, and succession planning.

Required Skills & Experience

Graduate of a recognized Legal Administrative Assistant program or equivalent education and practical experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably supporting tax, estates and trusts, corporate, or business law practices
Familiarity with corporate minute books, corporate records, and related filings
Proficiency with legal and administrative technology, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, BC Online, MYLTSA, and document management systems such as iManage

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting corporate reorganizations, estate planning, or tax planning matters is a strong asset
