Data Entry Clerk

Insight Global is seeking a Data Entry Clerk for a pharmaceutical client supporting an SAP migration project. This role will focus heavily on SAP master data extraction, cleanup, and migration. The consultant will be responsible for exporting data from a legacy SAP environment, manipulating and cleansing the data in Excel, and supporting the import into a new SAP system. This role is highly detail-oriented and Excel-intensive, with some direct interaction with the end client.

You will:
• Export existing SAP master data into Excel, clean and standardize it, and prepare it for import into the new system
• Perform manual data transformation, including splitting data from single cells into multiple structured fields
• Combine and reconcile data across 2–3 Excel data sources
• Translate and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Handle sensitive data (e.g., vendor, supplier, HR-related master data) with discretion
• Work closely with internal teams and, at times, directly with the end client
• Support general data entry and validation efforts required for the migration

Must-have skills & experience
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Entry, or data-focused role
• Strong hands-on Excel skills (advanced formulas, data cleanup, transformations)
• Experience working with SAP master data (vendor, supplier, HR, or similar datasets)
• Experience supporting system migrations or large-scale data cleanup efforts
• Extremely detail-oriented with strong data accuracy and validation skills
• Comfortable with manual, high-volume data work
• Experience handling sensitive or confidential data

Nice-to-have
• Exposure to SAP Hana
• Prior experience in pharmaceutical or regulated environments
• Experience working onsite or directly with end clients
