Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior Manager Business Performance and Planning to join an enterprise athleisure retailer in Mexico City, hybrid four (4) days a week in office. This team drives the incorporation and growth of the Mexico entity into the global operating model, and ensures that annual plans stay aligned with, and effectively contribute to, the organization’s long-term goals. At present, the business is focusing on rapid store expansion across the country as well as standing up ecommerce order fulfilment. This position is a mix of business strategy and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Deep financial literacy will be required to understand financial performance and inform cross-functional partners of current state and any potential risks or escalations. At a larger scope, you will contribute to the long-term strategy and plans, including decisions on what should be implemented, and how to measure success of business and store performance. At a more focused level, your day to day will include updating sales plans and creating metrics and frameworks to provide daily, monthly, and quarterly deliverable tracking. You will be the “right-hand” advisor to the local team on financial performance and ongoing initiatives, ensuring processes and metrics are aligned. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead business governance and support strategic financial planning, including the Long-Range Plan, OKRs, Annual Operating Plan, and budgeting processes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute in-year strategies and tactics that deliver against financial and operational objectives
• Support regional go-to-market alignment across merchandising, planning, marketing, channel, and global teams to ensure cohesive strategies and execution
• Oversee cross-functional program delivery by building project plans and roadmaps, establishing governance structures, managing risks and dependencies, facilitating key meetings, and maintaining strong stakeholder alignment
• Develop and manage financial, operational, and management reporting across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cadences, including sales, margin, and inventory, while designing frameworks, rhythms, and tracking mechanisms that ensure accountability to plan; collaborate closely with leadership and global Finance to define requirements
• Maintain the business operations calendar and oversee related activities to ensure organizational clarity, coordination, and readiness

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in a business strategy and finance related role
• 5+ years in a project management or synonymous role that heavily demonstrates strong analytical and data organizational skills
• Deep financial literacy and understanding of business processes, with an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA, MBA)
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the Leadership team

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in retail or consumer-related environment
• Exposure to business transformations, corporate integrations, or similar complex projects
• Advanced knowledge of English both written and spoken
