Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a Full-Stack Cloud Architect & Localization Engineer for a remote role focused on a new product with an existing client. This is a senior-level, high-impact position requiring deep expertise in AWS architecture, Node.js, TypeScript, React Native, and i18n/l10n frameworks. You will design and implement multilingual application features, integrate translation management systems (Tolgee, Weblate, Phrase, Lokalise), configure automated translation pipelines, and optimize infrastructure for scalability and security. Responsibilities include hands-on development of RESTful APIs, CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions/CircleCI), Kubernetes deployments, and PostgreSQL schema changes to support dynamic content translation. Strong experience with containerization (Docker, Linux), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, DynamoDB, Translate) is essential.

Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, cloud engineer, or cloud architect
• Deep proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript, React Native, and modern JS frameworks
• Strong experience with i18n/l10n frameworks (i18next, Tolgee, Lingui, FormatJS, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with translation management systems such as Weblate, Tolgee, Phrase, Lokalise, or equivalent, including setting up workflows, managing translation keys, and integrating TMS platforms into CI/CD and application pipelines.
• Hands-on cloud expertise with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, DynamoDB/PostgreSQL, Translate, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Linux systems, and containerized application patterns.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
• Strong database experience (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Ability to operate autonomously and deliver full-stack technical outcomes end-to-end.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Redis caching strategies.
• Prior work in high-scale marketplace or e-commerce environments.
• Localization QA or experience collaborating with native-language reviewers.
• Exposure to event-driven or microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with AWS funding programs or cost-optimization strategies.
