Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Technical Program Manager to join an enterprise retail company out of India. The successful candidate will use Project Management methodology to manage complex, cross-functional project(s) or workstreams of a larger program through the full project life cycle from planning through development, testing, and deployment. This includes project scope, dependencies, schedule, budget and risk/issue management to ensure projects are successfully delivered. Other principle duties and responsibilities include:
Manage the overall delivery of multiple technically complex projects, including cross-functional dependencies, from planning to deployment that have a start and end date with clear goals and objectives
Be able to lead, impact and influence cross-functional teams and peers
Be the technical bridge between people, program and product, with a strong emphasis on being technical, to the extent of deep diving into a problem with resolution and closure
Manages an agile team supporting continuous enhancements and driving ongoing initiatives
Unblocks and problem solves with the team where applicable
Ensures the project delivers the expected outcomes, supports business objectives, and is of quality
Aligns quarterly planning commitments with capacity available on team working with the Technology Manager
Ensures the objectives and tasks of a project are understood, documented, assigned, measurable, and tracked
Owns project related resource management and 3rd party vendor management
Develops relationships with product, business, technology teams and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders across regions (NA, EMEA, APAC, China) and cross functional teams to ensure solutions meet timelines and business objectives
Own end to end execution from inception to delivery and enforces strong project management best practices to own and communicate program status and risks
Provides coaching and guidance to project managers in the program
Aid with scrum ceremony calls including standup, sprint planning and retro, working closely with the federated team of engineers, architects, analysts and release management owner

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years working in technology or related field w/ minimum 5 years of experience in project management
Deep knowledge in Project Management methodology with a toolkit to support the overall delivery from planning through deployment (Software Development Life Cycle).
Good experience understanding technical architecture and data flow of the applications
Managed budget of <=1m capex estimated for the total initiative and financial forecasting
Experience in managing waterfall, hybrid, and agile delivery teams
Proven track record and experience working in a global company with remote technology teams across different time zones (India, NAM, APAC & EMEA)
Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Good experience in release management and deployment along with hypercare
Strongly motivated by an operations outlook and work ethic
Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, multi-program environment with changing priorities
Ability to anticipate potential problems and proactively troubleshoot to resolve issues
Strong leadership skills and ability to influence and gain consensus in the absence of direct authority
Strong preference for those with supply chain application experience
