Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Risk Analyst to join a Canadian boutique financial institution. The day to day responsible will be as follows.
Support risk management projects across the bank, focusing on documenting risks and controls for each business unit.
Conduct risk and control self-assessments, gather information from business stakeholders, and ensure accurate documentation.
Act as a “risk gatherer” by identifying operational risks, analyzing what went wrong, and assessing impacts.
Recommend and document controls to mitigate risks, including business continuity planning (e.g., system failures, payment disruptions, third-party impacts).
Collaborate with teams across the organization to consolidate risk data and ensure alignment.
Will include daily stakeholder management across the organization

Required Skills & Experience
Banking or financial industry experience (2–3 years preferred).
Proven experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis.
Strong ability to manage and engage stakeholders effectively.
Background as a junior data analyst within a bank or financial institution.
Proficiency in technical tools, especially Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data manipulation).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
