Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Purchase Order (PO) Management Lead to join an enterprise retail company hybrid in Vancouver 2-3x a week onsite. As a part of the Supply Planning team, the PO Management Lead will play a pivotal role in transforming supply plans into accurate and timely purchase orders. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is excited by process improvement and cross-functional collaboration. As the company undergoes a major transformation in processes and systems, we’re looking for someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and eager to help shape the future of their operations. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Translate supply plans into executable purchase orders for Finished Goods vendors.
- Analyze buy requirements and validate data inputs for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and resolve exceptions by collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Planning, Procurement, Vendors).
- Generate and release purchase orders with precision and timeliness.
- Maintain accurate records and develop dashboards to monitor PO performance and metrics.
- Document, maintain, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to PO processes and system enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years in supply planning, procurement, and/or purchase order management.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong data analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in documenting and improving operational processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Comfortable working in a changing environment with evolving systems and processes.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
