Insight Global is looking for an Electrical Hardware Engineer to join our client in the engineering consulting and manufacturing space local to North Vancouver, BC. This role has an initial term of 3-months with a likelihood of extensions or potential conversion to permanent, full-time. The successful candidate should have strong experience working with microprocessors, analog and digital peripheral circuits, and low-power switching power supplies. In the role, you will be overseeing the testing and troubleshooting designs and constructing test jigs within the testing process. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 5-years' experience as an Electrical Hardware Engineer and should possess strong knowledge with the schematic designs which include component selection, circuit capture, DRC Check and PCBA BOM. You'll also be conducting board layout which includes PCB stack-up definition, component placement and detailed routing rule checking.

- 5+ years' experience working as an Electrical Hardware Engineer
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
- Hands on experience using Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB design
- Experience with analog and digital sensors, peripheral circuits and low power switching power supplies
- Knowledge of C++ for firmware development and board bring-up using ARM-MBED,
STM32CubeMX, Keil, and Arduino IDE for rapid prototyping
