Insight Global is looking for a Business/Data Analyst to join the Supply Chain Data Analytics Squad for a large retail client in Vancouver BC. The BA will support the client with a backlog of queries from their Supply Chain Business Partners. They will utilize their background working in diverse teams within the supply chain domain to draw data synergies from various analytical initiatives. They will primarily support within the discovery phase, partnering with various Supply Stakeholders to requirement gather and support requests from a data and analytics lens.
This role requires proficient Business Analysis (e.g., gathering requirements, communicating with stakeholders, drafting business cases) and requires technical proficency from a data analyst lens (e.g familliarity with SQL, Power BI dashboards, data modeling work). Additionally, this position will be very collaborative, so good communication is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
Gathering requirements, communicating with different stakeholders and working across diverse teams
Going through backlogged projects and determining which ones need to be brought back up
Connecting with power BI dashboards
Supporting with data modeling work

5 years of Business / Data Analyst experience in the Supply Chain domain
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, SAP, and Excel (including macros and advanced analysis)
Experience in supply chain data and business needs ranging from supply planning, logistics, sustainability, and inventory
Ability to connect data requirements across various supply chain business domains
Strong data modeling and transformation logic
Ability to work independently and solve ambiguous problems
Excellent communication skills, with experience engaging both senior business stakeholders and technical teams
Familiarity with SAP data structures and processes (Big plus)
o Can be from navigating as a user
Retail industry experience
