A Portfolio Financial Analyst within the TPMO plays a vital role in the financial management of a Technology Portfolio. They provide critical insights into financial trends and ensure accountability for meeting financial deadlines, supporting Capex Budget Owners, Program Managers, Portfolio Managers/Leads, Tech Managers, and Directors/VPs in maintaining fiscal responsibility. By staying current with training on financial management tools, they lead training sessions and develop onboarding materials to educate their Portfolio on financial processes and policies. Through consistent tracking and reporting, the Analyst delivers insights into financial performance at the Project, Program, and Portfolio levels, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. They assist Capex Budget Owners in implementing changes and adapting to new financial management practices. As the subject matter expert on financial matters for their Portfolio, the Analyst collaborates closely with the Portfolio Manager/Lead, FP&A partners, and the TPMO Portfolio team to ensure alignment with financial management expectations and drive overall success.
