Insight Global is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join one of North Americas largest retail and wellness companies. The ideal candidate will be joining the Enterprise Platform Engineering team which is focused on the enhancement and maintenance of the GitLab platform for the organization. This role will require the individual to look at current and future state planning for the platform engineering team as it pertains to GitLab and will be working cross functionally with other development teams and leaders to build capabilities within this space. Currently this group is looking at implementing release templates within GitLab to ensure the organization as a whole is following a specific guideline when doing deployments as well as improving the organizations knowledge around the possible future features or the use of current features.

Has 10+ years of experience in technology-based roles
Has 3-5 years of experience with GitLab - Deploying with CI/CD pipeline or creating deployment templates
Has an understanding of CI/CD processes, Kubernetes, and Terraform
Has experience maintaining DevOps processes within AWS or Azure
Has an understanding and knowledge of CI/CD concepts, DevOps Processes and GitLab
