Insight Global is seeking a Front End Architect to join lululemon, one of Canada's largest athletic apparel retailers, located in Vancouver, BC. This is a 6-month contract position. As a Front End Architect, you will be part of the Bag & Checkout Team workstream. Here are the key details:
Workstream Overview:
The Bag & Checkout Team workstream involves a combination of new feature development and maintenance of existing features.
Your role will encompass 80% solution design and 20% coding.
Enhancing Customer Connectivity:
As an Architect, you'll contribute to enhancing lululemon's relationship with its customers/guests.
You'll collaborate closely with Domain Architects, Technology Managers, and Business Analysts to ensure solutions align with stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities include planning new features and epics, creating solution documents, and developing roadmaps.
Infrastructure Design and Scalability:
The team seeks an Architect who can drive infrastructure design solutions.
Currently, the Bag & Checkout team focuses on North America, but they aspire to support multiple countries.
They have recently completed GraphQL containerization (from Lambda to EKS).
Before the upcoming peak season, they aim to use the EKS service live.
Your expertise will be crucial in achieving these goals.
Architectural Design and High-Level Roadmap:
You'll play a pivotal role in delivering architectural designs and shaping the team's high-level roadmap.

Minimum 5 years of Architect experience developing, deploying, scaling and maintaining software applications.
A good portion of this experience should come from developing software solutions in and around cloud-based services and/or service-oriented architectures
5+ year's experience with JavaScript applications deployed to a cloud environment including experience with AWS
Strong middle tier knowledge and experience with Apollo GraphQL
