Insight Global is looking for a Senior Web Developer to join a AAA game employer remotely in Canada for a 6-month contract with possibility of extension. This person will be working on the Operations team and partner with a technical development team on a game. There is a current dashboard this development team uses that present useful and relevant data to the software engineers at a localized level by pulling in information from a multitude of data endpoints. This Sr. Web Developer will be coming in to create a stand alone wrap-around in C#/C++ that will be used by 25-30 technical leaders around the world and allow these leaders to monitor the overall health of the technical projects and make fundamental leadership decisions in real time. This person should be able to look at the existing code base, absorb this information, and use this to get a head-start on this new application. It is expected that this person will assist in the development of mock-ups based on conversation with the end users, as well as advise and make recommendations on wireframes, including asking follow-up questions proactively, critically thinking about usability of wireframes, and implementing incremental changes directly with the client. Larger scale recommendations will be discussed and presented to the client alongside Operations team leadership. Someone who is comfortable working within ambiguity, is a self-starter, thinks creatively, and does not need a clear set of orders will thrive in this role.
