Insight Global is looking for Senior Splunk Enterprise Security Engineers for one of our major retail clients based out of Vancouver BC. The company is beginning a project to implement the Splunk Enterprise Security Module. The vendor will be implementing the platform and these engineers will working in tandem with them on the client side. They are looking for one resource to be a more hands on engineer able to execute technical tasks, onboard applications to the platform etc. The second resource should be technical but have a bit more holistic view of the platforms as whole and strong problem solving skills and the overall architecture and implications of the new product (This could look like a very senior administrator or architect title).
Responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and manage security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
- Identify and define system security requirements and ensure they align with organizational security policies.
- Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices, including Splunk Cloud instances.
- Develop technical solutions and Enterprise Security

-5+ Extensive experience with Splunk Enterprise Security Cloud platform
- Excellent understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
- Previous experience implementing Splunk Enterprise Security Module preferably from inception to go-live/support
- Strong understanding of cloud computing security principles and technologies.
- Certifications such as Splunk Certified Architect or Splunk Certified Security Specialist.
- Knowledge of advanced persistent threats (APT) and cybersecurity countermeasures.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
