Insight Global is looking for a Junior SecOps Engineer to join one of Canada's largest athleisure companies in a 6-month rolling contract based in Vancouver, BC. When joining this team, the expectation for the first 30 days is to network with the partnering application teams and shadow ongoing campaigns that are led by the primary engineer. Following the first 30 days, you will be expected to act as the secondary engineer (being led by the primary) overseeing all campaigns. The team cuts tickets manually so you'd be responsible for ensure everything is documented in the standardized template and cross-referencing the POC for ticket assignment. Once the tickets are cut following the campaign launch, you will meet with the app partners to discuss risk and offer white-glove support. We are looking for an individual that has worked in a similar space and has a customer first attitude. The ideal candidate has a willingness to continuously learn and develop themselves.

3+ years of Security Engineering experience, ideally with an operations background
Experience with security alerting/monitoring tools such as Wiz, Prisma, Guard Duty, etc.
AWS and/or Azure experience from a security perspective
Security investigation background
Data experience with Tableau to understand violation trends
Networking background
