Insight Global is looking for a Network Engineer to join one of Canada's largest retail companies in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will be working on both projects as well as new requirements for both retail and corporate locations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues as they come up, identifying solutions, and seeing through the issue until resolved. There may also be some operational support but the main focus of the role will be dealing with large escalations directed from the Operational team. An example of an escalation could be retail locations experiencing WiFi connection issues and an example of a project could be spinning up a new location where you'd be responsible for ensuring the networking stack is working prior to new employees starting. We are looking for 5+ years in a Network Engineer role and CCNP certified.
5 years of hands-on experience working in an Enterprise scale Network Engineering role
Network certification such as CCNP or equivalent knowledge
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls
Experience with Cisco Meraki
