Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a UX Designer to join a large employer in Canada. This resource will be focusing on the Content Tools Catalog project. In this role, the successful candidates will have a background in writing, editing, and organizing technical content and will join the team and make it easy for game content creators to understand the Tools and Technology team's products. Day to day, you will...

- Enhance the UI/UX design of the Content Creation Tool Portal to provide a user-friendly and visually appealing experience for our end users.

- Collaborate with development teams to support interface updates, bug fixes, and feature additions throughout the portal pilot phase.

- Work closely with central teams to support catalog data validation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to users.

- Set up portal usage analytics and reporting dashboards to track user behavior, identify areas for improvement, and provide valuable insights for future enhancements.

- Conduct user research and gather feedback to understand user needs, pain points, and preferences, and incorporate them into design revisions..

Required Skills & Experience

- At least 4 years of experience in designing user experiences and/or content for documentation sites, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise.

- Proven ability to effectively communicate user experience research findings and design concepts to stakeholders, gaining their support and buy-in.

- Strong project management and coordination skills, ensuring timely delivery of design projects.

- Ability to identify and understand a target audience, personas, and their motivations for engaging with digital experiences.

- Experience in setting up platform usage analytics, using tools to track user behavior, and gathering insights for iterative design improvements.

- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web technologies, facilitating collaboration with development teams.

- A portfolio or project showing user-centered designs across digital products in areas such as e-commerce or digital asset management, demonstrating how you used research and data to inform your designs.

- Proven ability to learn new technologies and platforms quickly, accurately, and efficiently

- Ability to communicate with precision in a very technical environment

- An understanding and some experience of user research methodologies and user data analysis

- Experience using Figma and/or Sketch

Experience with Coda and/or confluence

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Extensive experience with Coda and Figma, particularly with Web Applications

- Experience in using Coda to create, setup, and modify pages

- Experience working with Airtable or similar tools

Experience within the gaming, movie, entertainment, audio industry.
