Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Cyber Security Manager to join one of Vancouver's largest maritime technology and containership management and ownership company on a full-time permanent basis. In this role as the Cyber Security Manager, you will be Reporting to the Vice President, Information Technology, this position develops, implements, and maintains cybersecurity and business continuity planning activities. As a key member of the IT management team, the Cyber Security Manager will have overall responsibility for the development and execution of the Atlas Group of Companies' Cyber Security roadmap, security operations and incident handling. You will work closely at ensuring standards and best practices for Operational and Information Technologies (OT / IT) are incorporated and executed across the organization.

- Develop and implement the company's Cyber Risk & Security framework, plan and roadmap in alignment with policies and standards

- Develop and implement corporate Cyber Security standards

- Ensure cyber security compliance in accordance with the requirements of regulatory and oversight bodies (i.e. classification societies)

- Lead information technology and operational technology security initiatives and projects from inception to implementation/operation

- Provide input to the company's Enterprise Risk Management program

- Perform third-party vendor evaluation, risk management and oversight from a cyber security perspective

- Oversee the reporting and analysis of Cyber Security operational effectiveness

- Promote a culture of Cyber Security awareness across the Atlas Group of Companies

- Develop and oversee the IT portion of the company's Business Continuity Program

- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with External and Internal Audit

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory and law enforcement agencies

Required Skills & Experience

Over 5 years of experience in the cyber security space and more than 3 years in a leadership role

Proven track record of successfully building/enhancing and managing a Security Program

Experience collaborating with senior management and stakeholders to design and implement security technology architecture

Experience with information security concepts and controls (both technical and conceptual)

Broad understanding of computer networking technology and security, server infrastructure, various communication protocols, operating systems, cloud operations and security (Microsoft Azure), virtualization, storage technologies, backup and recovery testing, Identity and Access Management
