An employer is looking to hire an Azure Database Engineer in Vancouver, NC. This is a hybrid role, that will require three days onsite in downtown Vancouver per week, and two days remote. You'll be a part of our client's People Enablement Tech team, migrating HRIS data from on prem systems to Azure cloud. You will be migrating and transforming human resource data for a large scale migration project.
3-5 years of recent Azure/Databricks experience and data development/transformation experience in this platform overall.
Legacy data migration experience
Experience with SAAS and PAAS
Strong SQL and Pythong scripting knowledge for data manipulation
Oracle DB familiarity or other on-prem legacy DB
Fundamental knowledge of technical aspects in Data engineering like example PySpark, Scala, Python and Spark development.
Experience with HRIS and people data is a plus, but not required.
